Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Understanding and documenting business needs within a broad context through structured stakeholder discussions
Understanding and documenting the technical landscape within which a solution must sit, including key interaction and integration points, and roadmaps pertaining to these
Translation of business needs, as-is technical landscape and non-functional requirements into solution designs
Driving the reuse of existing assets, or creation of net new reusable assets, as part of solution delivery
Building and maintaining strong relationships with Business and Technical Architects and technology delivery / development teams responsible for solution delivery
Ensuring that non-functional aspects, including performance, security, and availabillity, are adequately covered by any proposed solution architecture
Being consulted on the design of a solution and working closely with developers when designing appropriate solutions including the integration of solutions within a wider enterprise context
Gaining an understanding of the overall strategy and how the architecture supports this
Ensuring architectural decisions align to agreed guardrails
Understanding the latest trends in technology and innovation, as well as new and future emerging technologies
