Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- EV Diagnostics & Repair: Diagnose and repair high-voltage systems including batteries, inverters, motors, charging systems, and electronics.
 - Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI): Conduct checks on new EVs, ensuring software updates, charging functionality, and safety compliance.
 - Workshop Setup & Tool Management: Assist in setting up EV service bays, validating tools, diagnostic equipment, and safety gear.
 - Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to OEM and local high-voltage safety standards; train staff on safe handling.
 - Customer Support: Assist service advisors in explaining EV issues and providing technical solutions for a premium service experience.
 - Training & Knowledge Transfer: Guide and train junior technicians in EV systems, troubleshooting, and best practices.
 - Data Logging & Reporting: Maintain service records, diagnostic logs, and provide technical feedback to management or OEM.
 - Charging Infrastructure Oversight: Maintain dealership EV chargers and ensure operational reliability.
 
Experience Required:
- 3–7 years in automotive electrical/electronic systems.
 - Hands-on experience with EVs or hybrid vehicles, preferably in OEM-approved service centers.
 - Familiarity with high-voltage systems, battery management, and EV diagnostic tools.
 - Customer-facing technical experience is an advantage.
 
Educational Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Automotive Engineering.
 - EV technology, high-voltage safety, or OEM-specific EV certifications preferred.
 - Continuous learning in EV systems, battery technology, and automotive software is desirable.
