Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and execute university events, including conferences, graduation ceremonies, workshops, exhibitions, and external client events.

  • Manage all event logistics: venues, vendors, timelines, budgets, transportation, security, and health & safety compliance.
  • Collaborate with academic departments, marketing, communications, and administrative offices to ensure event objectives are achieved.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote event spaces and programs to internal and external audiences.
  • Collect and analyze event feedback to improve future events; prepare reports, summaries, and annual event reviews.
  • Handle client interactions, including inquiries, payments, complaints, and post-event evaluations, ensuring high satisfaction levels.
  • Lead and supervise event support teams, contractors, and service providers to ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensure all events comply with university policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Contribute to a performance-driven culture, sharing responsibility for the success of all university events.

Bachelor s degree in Event Management, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Hospitality, Business Management, or related field.

  • 7 years of experience in planning and executing events, preferably in an academic or international organization.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing teams or cross-functional projects.
  • Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management tools.

Desired Candidate Profile
