Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Events Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a wide range of events including corporate functions, conferences, exhibitions, concerts, and social gatherings. The role requires strong leadership, creativity, and operational skills to deliver high-quality events that align with company objectives and exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage, and execute events from concept to completion, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Develop event strategies, budgets, and timelines while monitoring costs to ensure profitability.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand event objectives and customize solutions.
  • Manage vendor relationships including venues, caterers, production companies, entertainers, and logistics providers.
  • Supervise event setup, production, and dismantling while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Lead, train, and supervise event staff and volunteers.
  • Handle permits, contracts, risk assessments, and event compliance requirements.
  • Develop marketing and promotional strategies for events in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Monitor event performance, gather feedback, and prepare post-event reports for continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance event experiences.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience of 15 years in managing large-scale corporate events, exhibitions, or entertainment shows.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Budget management and financial planning expertise.
  • Knowledge of event technology, AV systems, and production equipment.
  • Creative mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
