Events Coordinator Al Zorah Golf Club

JOB SUMMARY

The Events Coordinator plays a central role in planning, coordinating, and delivering golf-related events, while also supporting club-wide functions across F&B and leisure. This role ensures that all events meet Al Zorah Golf & Yacht Club’s standards of excellence, from initial planning through execution. With strong attention to detail, organization, and guest service, the Events Coordinator liaises between departments and guests to deliver seamless and memorable experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, organize, and execute golf tournaments, member events, and corporate golf days in collaboration with the Golf Operations team.

• Act as a key contact for event organizers, sponsors, and members during all stages of event planning and delivery.

• Prepare event materials such as scorecards, signage, tee sheets, gift packs, and player communications.

• Coordinate logistics with Golf Operations, F&B, and Leisure departments to ensure smooth event flow and excellent guest experiences.

• Support non-golf events as required, including wellness activities, private functions, and seasonal celebrations.

• Liaise with the F&B team to manage catering requirements, room setups, and post-round functions.

• Maintain and update event calendars, booking records, and post-event reports.

• Monitor event budgets, purchase orders, and inventory related to tournaments and guest gifting.

• Manage communications for event participants, including invitations, confirmations, and on-site briefings.

• Ensure brand alignment, premium presentation, and service consistency across all events.

• Attend events as the club’s host representative, coordinating service teams and addressing guest needs.

• Contribute to marketing efforts by supplying content, photography, and results to the communications team.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT

• Combination of indoor and outdoor work across golf course, clubhouse, and leisure facilities.

• Requires presence during early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as dictated by the event schedule.

• Ability to walk the golf course, set up signage/equipment, and lift event-related materials.
