Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate all logistical details for events from start to finish.
  • Develop event concepts and themes that align with client expectations.
  • Manage event budgets, ensuring all expenses stay within financial limits.
  • Liaise with clients to understand and determine event requirements and objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure services and products.
  • Oversee event day activities, making sure everything proceeds smoothly and on schedule.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to promote and create awareness for events.
  • Assess feedback and implement improvements for future events to enhance experiences.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health, and safety regulations for all events.
  • Manage volunteers and support staff involved in event coordination and execution.
  • Develop timelines and work schedules to ensure all event elements are on track.
  • Evaluate events post-completion to identify successes and areas for improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as an Events Coordinator or similar role in event management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
  • A keen eye for detail and creativity to design exceptional events.
  • Proficiency in using event management software and tools for planning.
  • Ability to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
