Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Operate excavators to dig trenches, footings, and foundations with precision, ensuring adherence to blueprints and project specifications.
  • Perform pre-operational inspections and routine maintenance on excavators, including checking fluid levels, greasing components, and identifying potential mechanical issues.
  • Load and unload materials, such as soil, gravel, and debris, onto trucks and other transport vehicles, optimizing efficiency and minimizing spillage.
  • Grade and level surfaces to create accurate slopes and contours, using advanced techniques to achieve desired grades and elevations.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Holds a valid Excavator Operator Certification, showcasing formal training and competency in operating heavy machinery.

  • Demonstrates a minimum of 1 years of experience in operating excavators on construction sites, indicating practical expertise.
