Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee all kitchen operations to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences.
  • Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff to maintain a cohesive and motivated team.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards in all kitchen activities.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs to maximize profitability.
  • Collaborate with restaurant management to plan and execute special events and promotions.
  • Monitor and evaluate food quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for kitchen efficiency.
  • Address and resolve any operational or personnel issues within the kitchen.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and integrate best practices into daily operations.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 3 years and up to 6 years of experience in a similar executive chef or head chef role within restaurants.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute diverse, high-quality menus.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with inventory management and cost control.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficiency in kitchen equipment and culinary techniques.
  • Commitment to maintaining a positive and productive workplace culture.
