Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Purpose:
-
The Family Office Proposition Head will be responsible for leading and shaping the bank s family office proposition (single and multi), ensuring the delivery of customized wealth management solutions to ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs). This individual will develop and execute strategic initiatives, build relationships with family office clients, and collaborate with various internal teams to offer integrated, tailored wealth management services. The role requires a deep understanding of family office needs, wealth planning, investment strategies, and complex financial structures.

The Family Office Proposition Head will focus on developing business across diverse regions within all areas of family offices of UHNWI, especially with different offshore and onshore locations [UK/ SW/ SG/ HK/ DIFC/ ADGM/ UAE and potentially more jurisdictions, as per the approved legal framework].

To achieve set Financial intermediaries Family offices revenues / AUMs increase FAB s market share in existing Family Offices already clients of FAB.

To provide family offices with an above optimum level of service & comprehensive solutions, in line with the desk strategy

Identify opportunities/ target FO's and develop business to widen portfolios & implement the strategic /marketing plan for the Financial Intermediaries Desk.

Develop viability and communication of FAB in the Family Office segment

Develop network of business introducers specialized in the Family Office segment.

Cross selling of all FAB business solutions
-
Maintain /expand current/future client base, acquire net new-business via referrals, contacts & marketing/events

Proactively enhance FAB, GPB s and the Financial Intermediaries Desk offerings by initiating & supporting internal processes & workflows, through innovative thinking driven by client s centric approach
Job Context:
A successful Family Office Proposition Head should be able to demonstrate their structuring capabilities and act as a Single point of contact for Family Offices to ultimately secure clients to the FAB platform and deliver AUMs and revenue streams leveraging the available products & services across the bank.

Number of new cooperation agreements signed

Number of new end Client relationships opened [Fresh Funds to the FAB Group]

Number of existing relationships managed with the primary goal of increasing wallet share

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
JOB KNOWLEDGE

Detailed knowledge of FAB policies, procedures and processes including anti-money laundering requirements, OFAC, and know your customer requirements in relation to the local and International Private Banking market.

Solid understanding of varied offshore jurisdictions. [including but not limited to Switzerland, SG, UK, FR, KSA & free zones domiciled in the UAE / GCC].

In-depth knowledge of GPB, retail, corporate, treasury and markets based investment banking products [vanilla & derivatives] both within Private Banking and across other banking divisions
-
Ability to closely follow the financial markets and use the broad knowledge of various investment vehicles
-
Excellent knowledge and understanding of best practice relationship management, business development and marketing techniques in international private banking.

Substantial knowledge of Family Office Requirements
PROFESSIONAL & TECHNICAL SKILLS

Excellent written & spoken English is must. Arabic, French, Hindi and/or Urdu as the case may be relating to client geography is also key.

Ability to work independently, develop professional long-term relationship and establish an extensive network of potential and actual individual and corporate high net worth clients.

Ability to build excellent relationships with Family Offices and HNW clients by providing excellent service in order to grow AUM and revenues as well as obtain business referrals

Converts prospects into clients.

Opportunity spotting have the skills to identify, explore & transact new market segments & develop the business to widen the private bank s client wallet

Ability to identify new opportunities with the client target segment and develop that business to widen the Bank s portfolio offering and increase profitable revenues

Ability to work with integrity when assessing each client requirements to ensure the correct solution and model is being recommended

Ability to think & mastermind Out of Box bespoke solutions for clients who require esoteric tailor made solutions.

Ability to manage prospects due-diligence in tandem with ability to ensure family offices/HNW/UHNW Clients are screened for required compliance

Ability to react quickly & professionally to all clients requests on a 24/7 cum 365 days as required

Experience

10+ years of experience in wealth management, family offices, or private banking, with a strong track record in managing and growing family office relationships.

Experience in leading teams and driving strategic initiatives in the financial services industry.

Deep knowledge of wealth management solutions, investment strategies, wealth planning, tax structures, and legal frameworks for family offices.
