Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Head Office Accounts and Finance Department.

  • Manage all accounting transactions in the region.

  • Manage book keeping; office inventory, petty cash and ensure proper closing on a daily basis.

  • Coordinating for approvals of Payments and Expense Requests.

  • Process transactions and updating ledgers, budgets, etc.

  • Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual closings.

  • Assist with audits, fact checks, and resolve discrepancies.

  • Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.

  • Facilitate a swift monthly closure by computing essential factors like tax returns, fixed assets, and ledger data.

  • Responsible for the calculation and preparation of the periodic VAT and filing of VAT Returns.

  • Responsible for filing of Customs Duties, Municipal Taxes, Social Insurance, etc. after obtaining approval from Head of Accounts, Head Office.

  • Formulate general ledger and closing reports by imputing in-depth details of the firm's transactions.

  • Responsible for the issue invoices to customers.

  • Responsible for receivables follow ups.

  • Reconcile bank transactions.

  • Prepare financial reports.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly.

  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in other languages may be beneficial.
