Executive Producer - Digital Newsroom

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the editorial and administrative management of the digital newsroom.
• Develop and oversee the daily editorial plan, ensuring alignment with breaking news and evolving global developments.
• Drive real-time editorial decision-making, adjusting coverage priorities as news unfolds.
• Oversee the publishing process across all digital platforms, ensuring accuracy, quality, and consistency.
• Ensure all content adheres to Al Jazeera s editorial standards, ethics, and brand positioning.
• Coordinate closely with news desk, planning, field teams, and other departments to deliver seamless coverage.
• Monitor all published output across websites, apps, and social platforms, ensuring optimal performance and presentation.
• Identify workflow challenges and implement solutions in collaboration with newsroom leadership.
• Evaluate the performance of journalists, editors, and correspondents, driving continuous editorial improvement.
• Design and support training initiatives and workshops to enhance newsroom capability.
• Produce daily editorial reports, including coverage performance, key achievements, risks, and forward planning.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor s degree in Journalism, Media, Communications, or a related field.
