Roles & Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities:
Reporting into the Senior Executive Chef, you will be responsible for leading the Stewarding department operation; ensuring exceptional service and attention to our internal and external guests.
Responsibilities will include selection, talent management and development of our Stewarding team, ensuring the organization and sanitation of all kitchens, storage areas, employee dining rooms, waste receptacle areas, compactor room, carts, tables and Stewarding equipment and machinery, controlling costs through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, inventory control and cost control measures, ensure proper use and provide regular care, security and maintenance of machinery and equipment used by the team, oversee banquets set up and service, and ensure operational needs are met; working closely with the Food and Beverage and Culinary leadership teams to coordinate supply and storage of china, silver, glass and other equipment used in service.
Desired Candidate Profile
A special talent and passion for ensuring you and your team deliver the highest of standards consistently and ensuring exceptional service and attention to our internal and external guests. You should have Chief/Executive Steward experience in luxury hotels, attention to detail, strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, the ability to multi-task with excellent organizational skills, and be a team player.
You will naturally also be a charismatic, nurturing, and inspiring leader with a strong passion for people welfare and development. You will be the Cultural Advocate of the Golden Rule; creating great workplaces for all great people to deliver great experiences.
Fluency in French, Arabic and English is a must for this location, along with eligibility to work in Morocco.
