Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Export Sales Strategy & Market Expansion
- Develop and implement export sales plans to achieve revenue and volume targets.
- Identify new international markets, distributors, and business opportunities.
- Conduct market analysis covering pricing, competition, regulations, and consumer trends.
- Lead strategic expansion initiatives across key regions (GCC, Europe, Africa, Asia, etc.).
Distributor & Client Management
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with international distributors and key account partners.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing models, and annual business agreements.
- Monitor distributor performance and support them in achieving annual sales targets.
- Maintain strong long-term relationships with importers, wholesalers, and retail partners.
Export Operations & Documentation
- Oversee export documentation including invoices, packing lists, health certificates, and freight documents.
- Ensure compliance with international regulations, customs procedures, and trade requirements.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, logistics, and quality teams to ensure timely shipments.
Trade Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to global trade regulations, import requirements, and export controls.
- Monitor changes in trade laws, tariffs, and certifications required for global markets.
- Resolve export-related issues including customs delays, non-compliance cases, and documentation discrepancies.
Pricing, Forecasting & Reporting
- Develop export pricing structures aligned with market conditions and cost indicators.
- Forecast sales volumes, trends, and budgets for international markets.
- Prepare periodic reports on market performance, opportunities, and challenges.
Trade Marketing & Brand Growth
- Coordinate with Marketing to execute international campaigns and promotional activities.
- Manage product registrations and labeling requirements for each market.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of trade marketing investments in each region.
Cross-Functional Alignment
- Collaborate with production, supply chain, finance, and quality departments to fulfill export requirements.
- Ensure production capacity aligns with export demand forecasts.
- Provide market intelligence to support product development initiatives.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education Level: Bachelor s degree in business, Logistics, International Trade, or related field.
- Years of Experience: Minimum 7 10 years of experience in FMCG export sales, preferably in premium food products.br> Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, export documentation, and customs requirements.
- Expertise in Incoterms, shipping terms, freight negotiation, and global logistics.
- Proficiency in export compliance processes, including certificates of origin, health certificates, and quality documentation.
- Solid understanding of FMCG market dynamics, especially in premium food categories.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo) and CRM platforms.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities with international clients and partners.
- Strong leadership and team management skills to drive export performance.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, especially in logistics, customer issues, and documentation challenges.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple markets simultaneously.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with distributors, importers, and key accounts.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and planning capabilities.
