Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive export sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets in international markets.
  • Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with new distributors, agents, and key clients across targeted export regions.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the export sales team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.
  • Negotiate and close high-value contracts with international clients, ensuring compliance with company policies and export regulations.
  • Coordinate with production, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to overseas customers.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, preparing regular reports for senior management and recommending strategic adjustments.
  • Represent the company at international trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to enhance brand visibility and network with potential clients.
  • Ensure all export activities adhere to legal, regulatory, and quality standards in each destination market.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly, maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and loyalty.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in export sales, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding international sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills at a mid-level career stage.
  • In-depth knowledge of export regulations, documentation, and international trade compliance.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful market entry strategies.
  • Experience working in a hybrid workplace arrangement, balancing remote and onsite responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to travel internationally as required.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
