Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage all export operations, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
- Prepare and process export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to arrange timely and cost-effective transportation.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues related to delays or damages.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of export laws, regulations, and best practices in target markets.
- Communicate with clients and internal teams to provide updates on order status and address inquiries.
- Negotiate shipping rates and terms with logistics providers to optimize costs and service levels.
- Analyze export data and prepare regular reports on shipment performance, costs, and compliance.
- Support the development and implementation of export strategies to expand into new markets.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and archiving of all export-related documents for audit and compliance purposes.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in export operations, international trade, or logistics.
- Must have experience in strong>Agricultural Crops/strong>
- Strong understanding of export documentation, customs procedures, and international shipping regulations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple shipments and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for dealing with clients, vendors, and regulatory authorities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using export management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work effectively in an office-based environment.
- Experience in coordinating with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
- Knowledge of Intercoms and international payment methods.
- Strong analytical skills for data reporting and process improvement.
