Export Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the export process from order placement to final delivery, ensuring timely and accurate shipment of goods.
• Prepare and process export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and bills of lading.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, including customs regulations and export control laws.
• Communicate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to arrange shipments and resolve any issues that arise.
• Monitor and track shipments, providing updates to customers and internal stakeholders as needed.
• Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service throughout the export process.
• Maintain accurate records of all export transactions and documentation.
• Collaborate with the sales and production teams to ensure alignment on shipment schedules and customer requirements.
• Conduct market research to identify new export opportunities and potential markets.
• Assist in negotiating contracts and pricing with international customers and suppliers.
• Stay updated on changes in export regulations and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Business, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in export operations, international trade, or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of export regulations, documentation, and customs procedures.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and export management software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex logistics issues.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
