Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor HDPE /PVC pipe extrusion machines (single/dual screw extruders).

  • Set machine parameters such as temperature, pressure, speed, and die settings based on product specifications.

  • Supervise the production team and ensure smooth workflow across shifts.

  • Conduct start-up, shutdown, and changeover procedures efficiently.

  • Monitor raw material feeding, mixing ratios, and ensure correct use of additives.

  • Inspect pipes for dimensions, surface finish, wall thickness, and quality compliance.

  • Troubleshoot machine issues and coordinate with maintenance when required.

  • Maintain production logs, shift reports, and quality records.

  • Ensure adherence to safety standards, housekeeping, and preventive maintenance schedules.

  • Optimize production output while minimizing wastage and downtime.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience:

6 to 10 years of experience in HDPE / PVC pipe extrusion.

Experience in a pipe manufacturing plant is mandatory.


Qualification:

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Plastics Technology-CIPET, or related field
