Roles & Responsibilities

Egypt Education Platform is seeking a dedicated and passionate EYFS Teacher for the Academic Year 2024-2025 at GEMS British International School of Madinaty. This role presents an excellent opportunity to nurture and inspire young learners in their foundational years, creating a positive and stimulating learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a comprehensive and engaging EYFS curriculum that supports the developmental needs of young children.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning through play.
  • Observe, assess, and track children's progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure consistency and coherence in the EYFS program.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents and caregivers regarding children's development and achievements.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in early years education.
  • Promote positive behavior and social skills among students, fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom culture.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.

  • Experience teaching in EYFS or early years setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with colleagues and interaction with parents.
  • Ability to create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
