Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their tables promptly.
• Manage restaurant reservations, ensuring tables are set and ready for service.
• Sustain an efficient and courteous dining room floor during service hours.
• Provide guests with menus, answer questions, and offer recommendations.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to manage guest orders timely.
• Ensure tables are pre-set and reset with immaculate cleanliness and detail.
• Facilitate an inviting atmosphere, enhancing the guest's dining experience.
• Accurately process guest transactions, generating bills and handling payments.
• Recognize and cater to any special dietary requirements or restrictions.
• Collaborate with team members to provide seamless, coordinated service.
• Stay knowledgeable about menu offerings, including daily specials and promotions.
• Address and resolve any guest concerns or complaints professionally and swiftly.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role within food and beverage service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests.
• Ability to remain calm and efficient under high-pressure situations.
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail are necessary.
• Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry heavy trays for extended periods.
