Roles & Responsibilities
About the role
We are seeking a Fa ade Designer Inventor Specialist with a strong background in 3D parametric modeling and fabrication workflows to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is technically driven, detail-oriented, and passionate about bridging fa ade design with factory production and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed fa ade drawings, schedules, and 3D visualizations for shop drawings, and fabrication stages.
- Develop parametric fa ade models in Autodesk Inventor for curtain wall, cladding, and glazing systems.
- Create fabrication drawings, assembly details, and production files suitable for automated manufacturing.
- Implement automation scripts and iLogic routines to standardize and accelerate design-to-production workflows.
- Coordinate with design and engineering teams to ensure consistency between architectural intent and fabrication output.
- Maintain model libraries, templates, and design standards for fa ade production.
- Support the development of digital fabrication workflows linking design models to manufacturing.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education and Experience
- Bachelor s degree in Architecture, Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 4 to 5 years of proven experience in fa ade engineering, detailing, and fabrication modeling.
Technical knowledge
- Strong understanding of international fa ade systems, including curtain walls, and bespoke concepts.
- Strong ability to prepare shop drawings, material take offs, fabrication drawings, and installation details with precision and clarity.
- Ability to produce manufacturing-ready 3D models, fabrication drawings, and cutting lists directly from Inventor or similar platforms.
- Strong skills in technical coordination with architectural, structural, and other disciplines to resolve clashes.
- Knowledge of fabrication methods and site installation sequences for aluminum and glass fa ades.
- Understanding parametric design, iLogic, and automated drawing generation.
Software skills
- Expert proficiency in Autodesk Inventor for 3D modeling, and automation (including iLogic and iFeatures).
- Understanding fabrication workflow, nesting, and BOM automation.
- Experience in integration with BIM platforms and data exchange (e.g., Revit, Navisworks).
