Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop detailed façade designs, considering aesthetics, performance, and constructability, ensuring innovative and visually striking solutions.
- Conduct thorough material research and selection, recommending appropriate façade materials based on performance, cost, and sustainability criteria.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate façade systems seamlessly with the overall building design, fostering strong working relationships.
- Analyze structural and thermal performance of façade systems, utilizing software and calculations to optimize design and ensure compliance.
- Review shop drawings and submittals from contractors, providing technical expertise and ensuring compliance with design intent.
Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 4–5 years of experience in façade design within the UAE or GCC. Strong knowledge of façade systems such as curtain walls, cladding, glazing, and aluminum works. Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D modeling software (e.g., SketchUp, Revit – preferred). Good coordination and communication skills.
