• Read and interpret engineering blueprints to understand design specifications.

• Measure and mark out cutting and bending lines accurately.

• Set up metalwork machinery, including rollers, drill presses, flame cutters, brakes, and shears.

• Double-check design specifications before commencing cutting work to ensure accuracy.

• Fabricate and construct metal components according to design requirements.

• Shop fabrication of heavy structural, Ship-Repair and new building works.

• Perform grinding and finishing processes on completed products to achieve desired quality standards.

• Use precision measuring instruments and apply them effectively during fabrication processes.

• Conduct quality checks on completed products to ensure they meet specifications.

• Adhere to state and company safety regulations at all times.

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to meet production targets.

• Prepare work site and conduct basic risk assessments on critical tasks to ensure safety.

• Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly, including performing maintenance functions on equipment as needed.

• Demonstrate a desire to work collaboratively as part of a team with a results-driven approach.

• Promptly report work-related accidents or injuries to supervisors.

• Report any unsafe work procedures or conditions and take corrective measures as necessary.
