Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
A leading aluminum company is seeking a highly experienced Facade Design Engineer to design and develop modern aluminum fa ade systems, including curtain walls, windows, doors, and related systems. The candidate must ensure compliance with industry standards, project requirements, and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop aluminum fa ade systems based on project specifications and international standards.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings and 3D models using CAD software such as Rhino, Revit, and SolidWorks.
- Collaborate closely with production, sales, and design teams to ensure smooth integration of design into manufacturing.
- Identify and resolve technical design issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct research and development to create innovative dies and improve existing products.
- Select appropriate materials and verify that they meet required standards.
- Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, test reports, and assembly instructions.
- Communicate technical concepts and project updates effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facade design engineering, with a focus on aluminum systems.
- Proven track record of delivering facade projects from concept through completion.
- Strong understanding of structural analysis, building codes, and industry standards related to facade engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD software and facade design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in an office-based environment with occasional site visits.
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical guidance and support during installation phases.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry advancements.
