Roles & Responsibilities
Role: FM In Charge
Salary: AED 12,000 – 14,000 + Single Status + Company Provided Yearly Benefits
Key Responsibilities:
1. Property Inspections and New Property Handover
· Conduct periodic site inspections and provide reports and follow-ups on outstanding concerns.
· Conduct a joint inspection with the FM team to ensure the new property meets all operational standards, including functionality, safety and quality before handover.
· Conduct post-maintenance inspections to verify that all work is completed to the required standards and in line with operational expectations.
2. Oversee Reactive Maintenance
· Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance activities across all properties.
· Manage on-call services and ensure appropriate resolution of urgent maintenance issues.
3. Planned Preventive Maintenance Schedule
· Coordinate and implement preventive maintenance schedules with all relevant departments to ensure all systems and equipment are in good working condition.
4. Event Coordination and Supervision of Maintenance Staff
· Supervise and lead a team of on-site maintenance technicians during events.
· Assign and monitor tasks based on priority and access availability.
· Arrange transportation and access requests to work locations as required.
5. Variation Works and Special Requests
· Oversee and coordinate variation works outside the initial design by preparing instruction forms for top management approval.
· Ensure all repair work complies with community and property standards.
· Process and fulfill specific requests from end-users.
6. Documentation and Reporting
· Keep records of snags, PPM tracker and improvement works, providing periodic reports.
· Monitor the action items of the open maintenance issues and update the maintenance tracker for event venues in collaboration with the housekeeping team.
· Oversee procurement of required materials and parts for work orders beyond the maintenance scope.
7. Liaising with Departments and HOD
· Serve as the main point of contact between the operations team and FM team for all maintenance-related matters, ensuring clear communication and timely updates.
· Coordinate with various departments, such as Housekeeping, F&B, Kitchen, Laundry, Spa, H&S, IT and Security to ensure all facilities remain operationally ready.
Desired Candidate Profile
Must have a strong technical background preferably with MEP experience.
The preferred candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical or civil engineering (Mechanical may also be considered).
Strong experience in FM hard services, including Civil, MEP, and HVAC. Experience in managing luxurious properties, along with flexibility to work in remote event locations and willingness to travel, is essential.
