Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of all company facilities to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor preventative maintenance schedules for building systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and supervise external service providers for cleaning, security, repairs, and other facility-related services.
  • Coordinate office moves, space planning, and workplace reconfigurations to support organizational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments.
  • Prepare and manage the facilities budget, monitor expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Respond promptly to facility emergencies, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and facility assets.
  • Lead and mentor a team of facilities staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support company events, projects, and operational initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years and up to 8 years of experience in facilities management or a similar role in Malls or Commercial Centre is a must.

Proven experience managing office buildings, commercial properties, or multi-site facilities.

Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and health and safety regulations.

Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and negotiate vendor contracts.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in using facilities management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
