Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Our client is currently looking for a qualified Facility Manager candidate who will be having the following key responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight
- Manage day-to-day operations of all facility management services across the complex.
- Ensure compliance of all service providers with contractual obligations, service-level agreements, and operational policies.
- Conduct regular inspections of common areas, equipment rooms, parking, and amenities to ensure proper upkeep and safety.
- Service Provider Management
- Oversee and evaluate the performance of service providers in security, cleaning, maintenance, elevators, and energy systems.
- Coordinate corrective actions and follow up on performance gaps.
- Lead weekly and monthly review meetings with all service providers.
- Project and Maintenance Management
- Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion.
- Review maintenance reports, service logs, breakdown incidents, and root-cause analyses.
- Coordinate major repairs, capital projects, and building upgrades with contractors.
- Health, Safety, and Risk Management
- Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, emergency procedures, and civil defense requirements.
- Maintain incident response readiness and oversee reporting of incidents, hazards, and emergencies.
- Develop and update risk registers, operational controls, and mitigation actions.
- Resident and Stakeholder Coordination
- Serve as the main operational contact for residents regarding issues, complaints, and maintenance requests.
- Communicate major updates, scheduled maintenance, or disruptions to residents in coordination with the executive management.
- Support the executive management in implementing new rules, guidelines, and community improvement initiatives.
- Financial and Contract Management
- Review vendor invoices and verify service delivery accuracy prior to submission to the executive management.
- Support the executive management in budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control measures for operations and maintenance.
- Assist in evaluating and selecting service providers when contracts are renewed or tendered.
- Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports covering the status of services, maintenance, complaints, risks, and recommendations.
- Maintain documentation for contracts, technical manuals, inspection reports, and compliance records.
- Present operational insights and improvement proposals to the executive management.
Desired Candidate Profile
The client is looking for candidates who meet the following specifications:
- holding a bachelor s degree in Engineering
- proficiency in English and Arabic languages is a must.
- 7+ years of experience in Facility Management, Building Operations, or Property Management.
- Proven experience in managing residential or mixed-use complexes
- Demonstrated background in supervising multiple outsourced contractors
- Experience in managing service-level agreements, operational compliance, and resident communications
- having strong working experience with MS Office applications
