Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Facility Operations Manager to oversee the efficient operation and maintenance of our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will ensure that our hospital infrastructure, systems, and services meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and efficiency, enabling exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Facility Management: Oversee daily operations of the hospital s infrastructure, including utilities, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety systems.

• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of technical and operational staff, ensuring productivity and professional growth.

• Compliance and Safety: Ensure the facility complies with local regulations, healthcare standards, and safety protocols. Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain certification and accreditation.

• Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize disruptions and maintain operational efficiency.

• Vendor Management: Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure high-quality services and cost-effective solutions.

• Budget Management: Monitor facility operations budgets, control costs, and recommend efficiency improvements.

• Crisis Response: Lead emergency response efforts, including facility evacuation plans and disaster recovery initiatives.

• Innovation: Proactively identify and implement new technologies and systems to improve facility operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field (Master s degree preferred).

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in facility operations, preferably in the healthcare sector.

• Proven knowledge of hospital facility systems and compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.

• Proficiency in facility management software and tools.

• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities.

• Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
