Job Summary: The Factory Design Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, and developing factory layouts and industrial facilities. The role focuses on creating detailed engineering drawings, production flow layouts, and infrastructure planning to ensure efficient, safe, and scalable manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed factory layouts including production lines, storage areas, utilities, and workflow zones. Prepare 2D and 3D engineering drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools. Design plant infrastructure layouts including machinery positioning, material flow, and logistics pathways. Create process flow diagrams (PFD) and layout maps for manufacturing operations. Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure designs meet operational and technical requirements. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in all designs. Optimize factory layouts to improve efficiency, productivity, and space utilization. Review and update drawings based on project requirements and site conditions. Support project teams during planning and execution phases with technical drawings and documentation.
