Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop detailed factory layouts including production lines, storage areas, utilities, and workflow zones. Prepare 2D and 3D engineering drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools. Design plant infrastructure layouts including machinery positioning, material flow, and logistics pathways. Create process flow diagrams (PFD) and layout maps for manufacturing operations. Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure designs meet operational and technical requirements. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in all designs. Optimize factory layouts to improve efficiency, productivity, and space utilization. Review and update drawings based on project requirements and site conditions. Support project teams during planning and execution phases with technical drawings and documentation.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5–10 years of experience in factory design or industrial projects. Strong experience in factory layout planning and industrial drawings. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar design software. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and plant operations. Familiarity with industrial standards and safety regulations. Skills: Strong technical drawing and design skills Excellent spatial planning and layout optimization Ability to analyze workflow and production processes Attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and coordination skills Key Deliverables: Factory layout drawings Production line maps Infrastructure and utility layouts Process flow diagrams Space utilization plans
