Factory Manager -Furniture

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Factory Manager to oversee daily operations at our furniture manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production schedules, ensuring quality standards, maintaining equipment, supervising staff, and optimizing processes to meet production targets efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the factory floor including furniture production, assembly, and finishing.

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate production to meet customer orders and delivery deadlines.

• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA).

• Monitor and control production costs, inventory, and raw materials usage.

• Manage, train, and supervise production staff, technicians, and shift supervisors.

• Implement lean manufacturing principles and process improvements.

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks on machinery and tools.

• Collaborate with departments such as Design, Procurement, and Sales for smooth operations.

• Prepare and present production reports and performance KPIs to senior management.

• Resolve issues related to labor, production delays, or equipment breakdowns promptly.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum 57 years of experience in a manufacturing or production management role, preferably in the furniture industry.

• Strong knowledge of production management, supply chain, and quality assurance systems.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in production software (e.g., ERP systems, MS Excel).

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
