Role & responsibilities
- Teaching & Instruction: Develop and deliver lectures, seminars, and labs, often spending around 70% of their time on teaching and related tasks.
- Research & Scholarship: Conduct original research, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and secure external funding through grants.
- Mentorship: Guide undergraduate and graduate students in research projects and academic growth.
- Curriculum Development: Design new courses and update existing ones to align with industrial standards and technology advancements.
- Academic Service: Serve on university committees, participate in professional societies, and support departmental activities.
