Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

To drive the success of our farming unit through rigorous supervision, technical guidance, and strategic operational management. You will be responsible for achieving high yields and cost-effectiveness while maintaining a safe, world-class farming environment.

Areas of Responsibility
  • Operational Excellence: Align field initiatives with farming strategies to manage an SAR 10 million(approx 2m GBP) operating budget (Labor & Overhead) and SAR 8 million in annual input costs.
  • Team Leadership: Direct and motivate a specialized team, including supervisors for Irrigation, Workshop, Crops, and Stores, ensuring 100% training compliance and performance.
  • Resource Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of farm machinery and tools across two functional areas: the Farm and the Workshop.
  • Supply Chain & Quality: Manage relationships with approximately 10 key suppliers and ensure all crops meet stringent quality standards from cultivation through to harvest.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce SOPs and health and safety standards to ensure a zero-harm working environment.

Desired Candidate Profile

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Management.
  • Professional Certification in Agriculture or Horticulture Business Management.

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in managing agriculture or horticulture operations within a medium-sized organization.
  • Minimum 3 years of specific experience within the Food Industry, with a deep understanding of commercial supply chains.
  • Proven track record in managing high-volume production (ideally 40k+ tons per annum).
