Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

This is a full-time on-site role for a Fashion Design Manager located in Cairo, Egypt. The Fashion Design Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day tasks related to fashion design, product development, and trend forecasting. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of design concepts and maintain brand aesthetic and standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

Leads, manages and drives multiple fashion design projects from conceptualization to finished product.
Manages the planning, implementation and analysis of fashion design campaigns and ensure campaigns are aligned with branding guidelines.
Manage a team of fashion designers and graphic designers for various fashion design brands
Coordinates with Brand Managers of various brands to choose the collection direction for the coming season.
Coordinate with Brand Manager of various brands to set target retail prices.
Supports fashion designers in creating mood boards and color cards and collection styles..
Coordinates with production receipt of fabrics/strike offs samples/lab dips. Etc.
Coordinates with production receipt of proto types and PPS approvals.
Supports product development in giving proto and PPS approvals
Coordinates with Production team to reach product final cost.
Responsible for organizing and meeting deadlines for seasonal collection presentation.
Responsible for finding and training new designers.


Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in design or fine arts is preferred
Excellent design and conceptual skills
Excellent communication skills
Managing team from 5 to 8 years
