Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop original fashion concepts and translate them into detailed sketches and technical drawings.
- Research current fashion trends, fabrics, and techniques to inform seasonal collections.
- Collaborate with product development, merchandising, and production teams to ensure design feasibility and quality.
- Select appropriate fabrics, colors, and trims for each design, considering both aesthetics and functionality.
- Create mood boards, color palettes, and inspiration presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in fittings and make necessary adjustments to prototypes to achieve the desired fit and style.
- Prepare and present design proposals to management and cross-functional teams.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and competitor activities.
- Ensure all designs align with brand identity and target customer profiles.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 2-3 years of professional experience as a Fashion Designer or in a similar role.
- Proven ability to design and develop apparel or textile products from concept to completion.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative and technical design skills.
- Excellent understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and textile properties.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD tools.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for color, texture, and style.
- Adaptability to evolving trends and willingness to embrace new ideas.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
