Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design new clothing collections that match current fashion trends.
  • Create sketches, mood boards, and details for each design.
  • Work with the production team to make sure designs can be produced with high quality.
  • Choose fabrics, trims, and materials for each piece.
  • Join fittings and review samples to make improvements.
  • Keep up with fashion trends and what competitors are doing.
  • Work with store and sales teams to understand what customers like.
  • Present your ideas to the team for approval.
  • Make sure all design projects are finished on time.
  • Help the merchandising team with displays and campaigns when needed.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 1-3 years of experience in fashion design or a related field.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing original fashion designs and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD tools.
  • Solid understanding of garment construction, textiles, and production processes.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for color, fabric, and style.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current fashion trends and market dynamics.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to work on-site and participate in hands-on design and production activities.
