Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Sales follow up & interpreting trend analysis.

  • Selecting fabrics, trims & accessories.
  • Issue seasonal color card per fabric or product line.
  • Create, manipulate and recolor all prints & yarn-dyes . Follow up fabric, trims & accessories developments.
  • Develop Designs for a range of products.
  • Develop Designs for product accessories when needed (buttons, tags etc).
  • Execute layouts, rapports and color ways.
  • Coordinate with staff involved in drawing and cutting patterns and constructing samples or finished garments.
  • Examine sample garments on and off models; and issuing compliance reports.
  • Issue detailed Style & Trim sheets.
  • Follow up color, prints & embroidery approvals.

Better be experienced in building Flats, Line Sheets and and Color boards .

  • Communication and follow up capabilities .
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, with excellent organizational skills .
  • Good performance in a high energy design environment.
  • Fluency in Arabic & English; spoken & written.

Desired Candidate Profile

A Bachelors Degree in Fashion/Apparel Design, or equivalent from a recognized academic institution.

  • Preferably 2:3 years experience in apparel Design.
  • Knowledge of Corel draw & Corel photo paint or similar software is a must.
