Roles & Responsibilities

King Abdullah Specialized Hospital, Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs in Al-Qassim is pleased to announce the availability of the following scholarship opportunity in Fellowship in Gastroenterology.

The selected candidate who will pass the medical checkup, will be recruited on a temporarily position for one year (if applicable) and he/she will be required to work in the Dept. of Internal Medicine prior and after scholarship.

Within one year, he/she must secure an admission from a recognized university overseas.

Desired Candidate Profile

The basic qualifications are as follows:

  • Saudi national
  • 45 years old and below
  • GPA 3.5 out of 5 and above
  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine
  • Registration/License from Saudi Commission for Health Specialties
  • Saudi Licensing Examination result SMLE (mandatory)

The required documents are: Updated CV, Graduation certificate (Bachelor s Degree), Three recent (6 months to 1-year validation) recommendation letters (at least two of them should be from consultants in the selected specialty), Copy of your Saudi ID + passport and badge, Saudi Licensing Examination result, USMLE / MCCEE result (if available), Having an offer from recognized university overseas is an advantage
