Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Perform laser hair removal treatments on both male and female clients, with a focus on sensitive areas including groin, armpits, and other targeted zones.
  • Conduct thorough client consultations to assess skin type, hair texture, medical history, and treatment goals using standardized assessment tools.
  • Operate and maintain laser equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and clinic protocols to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Adhere to strict infection control and sterilization procedures to maintain a safe and hygienic treatment environment.
  • Document all treatment sessions accurately in electronic health records, including client progress, adverse reactions, and follow-up recommendations.
  • Educate clients on pre- and post-treatment care, including sun protection, skin care routines, and expected outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
  • Monitor and report any adverse reactions or complications during or after treatment, escalating to supervising medical staff as needed.
  • Stay current with advancements in laser technology, safety standards, and best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
  • Maintain a professional, respectful, and confidential approach when interacting with all clients, especially in sensitive treatment areas.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Nursing or a recognized certification in Laser Technology/Aesthetic Medicine (preferred).

Minimum of 4 5 years of hands-on experience as a Laser Technician in a clinical or aesthetic healthcare setting.

DOH Licensed

Proven experience in performing laser hair removal treatments on diverse skin and hair types, including sensitive areas (groin, armpits, etc.).

Valid certification in laser safety and operation (e.g., CACFP, ICA, or equivalent).

Strong understanding of skin anatomy, physiology, and contraindications for laser treatments.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and comfort with clients.

Must be a female candidate due to the nature of treatments involving sensitive areas.

Open to working with clients of all nationalities; no nationality restrictions.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.

Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and digital documentation tools.

Commitment to upholding ethical standards, patient confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
