The Arbor School seeks a special individual for an exciting opportunity that has arisen within our school. The successful candidate will play a key role in fulfilling the school s ecological and sustainability vision, as well as challenging students to fulfil their potential within the academic disciplines. The Arbor School are seeking a highly motivated Female Secondary Teacher of Physical Education to join the successful whole school PE and Sports team.
We are looking for an experienced teacher with a passion for the subject and a broad subject knowledge. The successful applicant will be able to teach students of all abilities as well as demonstrate a proven track record of securing outstanding student outcomes in both physical and academic development. To ensure the continued development of our sports programme, we are looking to recruit a candidate with expertise in athletics, netball and cheerleading.

JOB SUMMARY
The successful candidate will be proficient and experienced in teaching Physical Education and swimming in the Secondary School. You will form an integral component of the team, with responsibilities across both core and academic PE predominantly, but as a through school department may be required to support primary at times. The successful candidate will also be fully committed to supporting and further developing the sport and ECA programme through supervising and arranging sports fixtures and ECAs before and after school.
Desired Candidate Profile
Native-level English language skills
- Bachelor s degree in Physical Education or similar, with a PGCE in Education with QTS or equivalent
- A minimum of 3 years experience teaching physical education in the UK or a reputable British school overseas
- A track record of outstanding teaching and learning and an ability to create a caring and nurturing classroom environment.
