Roles & Responsibilities

This is a premier bilingual school of separate boys and girls campuses, that combine an international curriculum with an ethos that strongly promotes the ideals and culture of the Middle East. All students speak English as a second language.

Teachers are expected to part of the KED program in the school. The key to personalized learning, where the teacher helps the student to set goals and develop successful learning strategies for all schoolwork. In the KED Program, the teacher has four major roles: being a personal coach to support each student s progress, a subject teacher who is an expert in a certain subject, a general teacher who provides support to all students in the school, and a team member in the local and global networks of teachers in the KED Network. Last but not least, the professional development of teachers is a major focus of the KED Program.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications: Bachelor Degree plus Teaching Qualification.

QTS: From UK, Scotland, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand

Experience: Minimum 4 years required, may consider less for the right person

Curriculum: Within secondary school and require experience with the Cambridge and/or UK curriculum, alongside IGCSE and, ideally, the IB Diploma Programme. Idealy have experience with Digital Societies within the IB

Age Range: Key Stage 5 - girls campus
