Roles & Responsibilities

Role Overview:
We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic, passionate and creative teachers of the highest quality to join our supportive and innovative team. The school, which was established in 1979, is one of the founding British schools in Al Ain and is held in high regard by the local community for its pioneering education. AAESS is a DFE registered BSO (British Schools Overseas) in Al Ain, and has an inspection rating of Very Good.

We are very proud of our students who continually gain Gold Duke of Edinburgh Awards and Cambridge and Pearson Highest in the UAE, Middle East, and the World awards with our recent major successes in French, Maths and Psychology.

The successful applicant will:
Be an enthusiastic and consistently strong practitioner with a sound knowledge and understanding of Primary and Secondary Physical Education;
Have experience of teaching the National Curriculum in British Schools;
Have knowledge of pool maintenance and management;
Hold internationally recognised life guard qualification;
Enjoy being part of a professionally-stimulating environment;
Promote a well organised and inspiring learning environment;
Offer enthusiasm and demonstrate a positive approach to pupils;
Be committed to constant improvement in all aspects of school life;
Be reflective and continually strive to improve performance;
