Roles & Responsibilities

  • Orchestrate the seamless execution of vessel operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of oil and gas cargoes.
  • Proactively manage voyage planning, optimizing routes and schedules to mitigate risks and maximize profitability within the oil and gas trading environment.
  • Oversee the chartering process, negotiating favorable terms with shipowners and brokers while adhering to trading strategies.
  • Collaborate with trading desks to align vessel operations with market opportunities, maximizing returns on each trade.
  • Monitor vessel performance, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and implement operational efficiencies.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all relevant regulations, including safety, environmental, and international shipping standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Holds relevant certifications, such as a Master Mariner's license or equivalent, is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in vessel operations within the oil and gas trading industry.
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of international shipping regulations, including MARPOL and SOLAS.
