Roles & Responsibilities
Must have experience of working in the Middle East or internationally elsewhere. The school are looking for a Principal who is focussed upon academics rather than operations and must show evidence of strong pedagogical leadership with associated improved results at a whole school level. The successful candidate will set the academic pace for the school, improve teaching and learning and improve academic outcomes. School operations will be handled by an experienced operations team.
A private international school located in the Northern Emirates of the UAE is seeking an experienced FEMALE Principal for the next academic year.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor degree and preferably a Master Degree in Educational Leadership or Educational Administration
- Experience of managing and developing a US based international curriculum
- Accreditation experience would be ideal as the school is going through this process with Cognia
- School counseling background advantageous
- An excellent command of the English Language
- A Minimum of 5 years experience at least in an administrative role as Principal
- Have a comprehensive grasp of the current education initiatives, practice and thinking
- Willing to work in a more local cultural setting.
