Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description
Manage your team (individual interviews, department meetings, communication, etc.).
Contribute to the definition and implementation of areas for improvement in the department and the management of associated projects.
Ensure the achievement of quality, cost, and deadline objectives set within the framework of study projects.
Participate in the search for technical solutions within the design office and be a generator of ideas.
Ensure technological monitoring in your field of activity

Job Requirements

Technical tasks:
Know, respect, and ensure compliance with the standards, procedures, and internal processes applicable to your field of activity among the teams.
Assign work to your colleagues.
Validate the costing of work packages.
Plan and monitor the workload of your department and report on it.
Develop, propose technical solutions, and provide assistance to your team.
Promote and encourage "design to cost", "design to manufacturing" and ergonomics approaches in designs.
Promote and encourage connections and interactions with other professions and departments within the framework of cross-functional collaboration and compliance with the development process (BE profession, Industrialization, Method, Quality, Purchasing, Certification, Style, Perceived Quality, etc.)
Validate the output data of his team (3D, 2D, DJD, etc.)
Be responsible for the quality, deadlines and costs of his department's activity.
Ensure that his objectives are achieved and report any deviations.
Carry out improvement actions within the framework of the operation of his department.
Managerial tasks
Carry out annual Performance and Professional Development Interviews for his team, respecting the deployed schedule.
Establish the career development plan for each employee following the Performance and Professional Development Interviews.
Develop the necessary training plan for his team in line with the needs of the department and the allocated budget.
Develop and set objectives for the entire team that are consistent with the strategy and vision of the company.
Ensure the capitalization of professional know-how (Development of methodologies, professional guides, production of work feedback)
Implement the management routines necessary for the department (OBEYA Business, Point Ple, Communication Point, etc.)
Ensure clear reporting on the team's performance.
Guarantee, through monitoring and supervision, compliance with the required safety and quality rules.
Participate in the Company's continuous improvement process.
