Key Responsibilities:
Perform fiber optic cable splicing using fusion and mechanical splicing techniques.
Install and terminate fiber optic cables in compliance with project specifications and Aramco standards.
Conduct testing of spliced cables using OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer) and other testing equipment to ensure signal integrity.
Troubleshoot and repair faulty fiber optic cables and connections.
Maintain accurate records of splicing activities, test results, and cable routes.
Follow all safety protocols and Aramco-approved procedures during installation and maintenance.
Coordinate with project engineers and site supervisors to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Ensure proper handling and storage of fiber optic materials and equipment.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Fiber Optic Cable Splicer, preferably in Aramco projects.
Knowledge of Aramco standards and safety procedures.
Skilled in using fusion splicing machines, OTDR, and other fiber optic testing tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and cable layouts.
Good physical condition and ability to work in various environments.
