Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct pre-commissioning activities (air blowing, water flushing, steam blowing).

Perform commissioning tasks (Tightness Test, Refractory dry-out, System drying, Inerting).

Operate, maintain, and calibrate instrumentation in treatment plants. Perform analytical testing (turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO, O, SDI, TOC).

Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues on valves, compressors, pumps, blowers, instrumentation.

Handle chemicals safely (Citric Acid, HCl, NaOH, Sulphuric Acid). Maintain reports (charts, graphs, safety audits).

Read and interpret PFDs and P&IDs.

Knowledge of rotating equipment, pumps, compressors, turbines

Desired Candidate Profile

Major / Degree - High School Diploma or equivalent (Chemical & Mechanical engineering Bachelors preferred).

Expertise / Skill - Strong ability to operate and maintain field equipment and instrumentation. Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems and performing chemicalhandling safely. Proficient in reading PFDs and P&IDs and using MS Office tools for reporting.

Reference (Experience) -

  • Minimum 10 years in refinery/petrochemical operations and commissioning.
  • At least 5 years working with Korean EPCC companies.
  • 2+ years operating SRU Unit, ASU Unit preferred.
