Job Description

A Field Service Engineer plays a vital role in maintaining the satisfaction of customers by providing technical support and expertise in installation, repair, and maintenance of equipment and systems on-site. This dynamic role requires a proactive individual who can diagnose complex equipment issues, implement effective solutions, and ensure that all clients receive exceptional service. The position demands frequent travel to various customer locations, adaptability to handle diverse technologies, and the commitment to maintain professional relationships with clients. Field Service Engineers are essential to the seamless operation of technical service delivery, enabling organizations to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.


Responsibilities
  • Perform on-site equipment installations with precision and adherence to safety guidelines.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures to ensure optimal performance efficiency.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks and service calls for routine equipment upkeep.
  • Develop and maintain positive customer relationships through effective communication and service.
  • Provide detailed reports of service activities and implementation of corrective measures.
  • Train end-users and clients on the operation and maintenance of their equipment.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and enhance skills to handle high-tech equipment.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to address and resolve customer issues promptly.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of spare parts and tools for execution of service tasks.
  • Ensure documentation of all repairs and service operations conducted at client sites.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing field service activities.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong technical background with experience in diagnostics and technical repairs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical clients.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and flexibility to adapt to changing schedules.
  • Proficiency with relevant tools, technology, and equipment for field service tasks.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required for travel purposes.
