Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Ensure the maintenance and control of general and analytical accounting in accordance with applicable standards.

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring their accuracy and compliance

Oversee cash management, optimize financial flows, and monitor budgets.

Coordinate internal and external audits, prepare the necessary documents and respond to auditors

Analyze budget variances and propose corrective measures to improve financial performance

Managing relationships with financial partners, banks and tax authorities

Establish and monitor accounting and financial procedures to ensure regulatory compliance

To supervise and lead an accounting team, to ensure ongoing training and skills development

Participate in the development of financial strategies in collaboration with senior management

Ensure that the management tools and accounting software used by the department are kept up to date.

Master's degree (Master 2 level), Engineering degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or related field

Proven experience of over 10 years in a similar role, ideally in an industrial or commercial environment

In-depth mastery of Algerian and international accounting standards (IFRS, Algerian PCG)

Excellent knowledge of IT tools and accounting software (Big IT, Ciel, SAP, etc.)

Ability to analyze financial data, produce clear reports, and make decisions.

Rigour, organisation, a sense of confidentiality and impeccable professional ethics

Good command of French, both spoken and written. Knowledge of Arabic

Ability to work under pressure and to respect strategic decisions
