Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure the maintenance and control of general and analytical accounting in accordance with applicable standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring their accuracy and compliance
- Oversee cash management, optimize financial flows, and monitor budgets.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, prepare the necessary documents and respond to auditors
- Analyze budget variances and propose corrective measures to improve financial performance
- Managing relationships with financial partners, banks and tax authorities
- Establish and monitor accounting and financial procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
- To supervise and lead an accounting team, to ensure ongoing training and skills development
- Participate in the development of financial strategies in collaboration with senior management
- Ensure that the management tools and accounting software used by the department are kept up to date.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Master's degree (Master 2 level), Engineering degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Proven experience of over 10 years in a similar role, ideally in an industrial or commercial environment
- In-depth mastery of Algerian and international accounting standards (IFRS, Algerian PCG)
- Excellent knowledge of IT tools and accounting software (Big IT, Ciel, SAP, etc.)
- Ability to analyze financial data, produce clear reports, and make decisions.
- Rigour, organisation, a sense of confidentiality and impeccable professional ethics
- Good command of French, both spoken and written. Knowledge of Arabic
- Ability to work under pressure and to respect strategic decisions
