Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are a leading engineering contracting company seeking an experienced and results-driven Finance & Administration Manager to oversee our Qatar operations. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in financial management, administration, and strategic planning within the construction or engineering sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance:
- Lead and manage all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws, regulations, and corporate financial policies.
- Oversee payroll, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial audits.
- Prepare and present regular financial statements and performance reports to senior management.
- Manage banking relationships and funding requirements.
- Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring profitability and risk mitigation.
Administration:
- Supervise and improve administrative systems and processes.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, immigration regulations, and company policies.
- Manage procurement, vendor contracts, and company assets.
- Oversee HR-related functions including recruitment coordination, staff records, and general employee administration in coordination with HR team.
- Support operational departments with timely and accurate administrative services.
- Support in Camp management
Strategic & Operational Support:
- Contribute to business planning and strategic decision-making at the top level.
- Collaborate with project managers and department heads to ensure efficient project execution.
- Implement and monitor internal controls and company governance practices.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA/CPA/CMA preferred).
- 20 to 25 years of overall experience, including at least 5 years in a senior managerial role within the engineering or construction sector.
- Proven experience in Qatar or the GCC is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of ERP/accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
Salary & Benefits:
Attractive salary package will be offered based on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include housing allowance, transportation, annual leave, and other standard benefits as per Qatar labor law.
